These experiential programs will immerse you in the world of the natural horse. Our 2012 programs include:

• Annual Five Day Photography Clinic ~Join master equine photographers Tony Stromberg and Kimerlee Curyl and Return to Freedom Founder, Neda DeMayo, for a 5-day equine photography workshop. This time of year the landscape is rich with color and life is celebrated with the arrival of courtships and a few new foals. RTF founder Neda DeMayo offers photographers a unique perspective into the world of equine behavior; how horses perceive and respond to the world around them and relationship dynamics in order to help photographers capture that perfect interactive herd shot.  Master equine photographers, Stromberg and Curyl, facilitate a total immersion into the diverse herds that live at the sanctuary as well as valuable one on one lab time. This very unique workshop stresses the importance of developing a relationship with the natural world emphasizing “co-creation” as it relates to the authorship of a finished image. • Leadership Development with Horses ~ Return to Freedom partners with Teaching Horse (www.teachinghorse.com) to deliver customized executive and leadership development experiences for teams.  Learn a model of leadership based on how horses lead their herds.  Learn how to create cultures that foster innovation and the capacity to adapt in complex, uncertain environments.  Practice embodying shared leadership. • Energy Medicine and Animal Communication ~ With Cindy Rackley ~ Animal Communicator, Reiki Master/Teacher and Practitioner of Vibration Medicine, $175 per day. 10 AM – 5 PM

Day One: Reiki Level I Certification ~ Reiki is a form of natural healing that is being taught in hospitals and colleges across the country and around the world.  It is a technique that heals on all levels; Body, Mind & Spirit.  Beneficial to both people and animals, Reiki accelerates healing, alleviates pain and reduces stress.  It is complementary and enhances other modalities of healing.

Day Two: An Introduction to Energy Medicine ~ An introductory course to learn about utilizing Reiki, Applied Kinesiology, Homeopathy, Flower Essences and Essential Oils to help in the healing of People and Animals.

Day Three: Animal Communication  ~ Learn to communicate with your animal companions, assess their health and well being; and learn techniques to validate your information.  The day is filled with practice time utilizing a variety of methods and a brief reading of your animal companions.

PROGRAMS BY SPECIAL ARRANGEMENT

• The Heart of Listening™ ~ An educational module for groups. Mini-clinics with Neda DeMayo and /or RTF trainer on the following topics: body language as a form of universal communication, liberty play, obstacles, and other fun games. Emphasis on the communion possible between horses and humans and developing the bond as a foundation for relationship. 

A customized program can include a lecture series by equine experts on natural horse management and natural healing modalities, including: herd behavior, natural nutrition, natural hoofcare, vibrational healing modalities, and holistic dentistry. 3 and 5 day formats. Recommend Suggested minimum donation $250 per day. Scheduled by personal arrangement. Minimum 4 participants.

• Journeys With Wild Horses™ 3-Day Personal Retreat ~ For the individual who wants to immerse him or herself into the language and community of wild horses through exposure to their habitat and family bands. Experience direct learning through observation and self-discovery in nature’s classroom. We will create a personalized educational experience with Founder Neda DeMayo and RTF trainers. Rustic accommodation at the sanctuary for total immersion (meals not provided), or stay off-site at a hotel in town. Reservations required well in advance. Recommended donation $700 for three days.
