Donations

Return to Freedom relies entirely on the contributions of its donors.

Donations

Return to Freedom provides a safe haven for some 200 wild horses and burros. The costs of feed, fencing and veterinary care are a tremendous financial burden that we struggle daily to meet. The horses that have found sanctuary here were facing an uncertain future. Return to Freedom opened its doors to entire family bands that were removed from their native range lands, orphan foals that were separated from their families during round ups, and rescued horses that were abused or neglected and in need of special care. Please help us continue to care for these horses.

In addition to caring for these horses, we maintain a rare breeds preservation program, offer an array of experiential educational programs and fight policy initiatives that threaten the American wild horse.

Your donations are deeply appreciated and sorely needed. Return to Freedom is a non-profit , 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax deductible.

Matching Funds

Did you know that many companies offer a matching funds program, where they will match the charitable contributions of their employees? This is a great way to double your donation. Ask your employer if they offer matching funds.

Planned Giving & Bequests

There is a certain peace in knowing that we can leave a legacy of good that extends beyond our time on this earth. Bequests allow us to specify in our will that either a specific portion of our estate (specific bequest), or whatever is left after specific gifts are distributed to other beneficiaries (residuary bequest), will be given to the charitable organization of our choice. Please consider Return to Freedom in your estate planning.

Other Return to Freedom Programs

If you would like your donation to be used in a specific way, we offer programs such as: Sponsor a Horse, Sponsor an Acre, and our Membership program. Remember, sponsorships and memberships can be done in someone's honor, making this a great gift idea for the horse lover in your life.

On behalf of all the animals at Return to Freedom's American Wild Horse Sanctuary, we thank you.
