Monthly Giving is Easy

For your convenience, we have compiled commonly asked questions about how our monthly program works. If your question isn’t covered here, please feel free to call us at (805) 737-9246.

After I’ve made an online gift, how can I make changes to my account (i.e., change amount, change my credit card number, etc.)?
A: It’s so easy! Please call (805) 737-9246. If we receive your change prior to the month’s processing deadline, we can make the change effective for that month. If not, it’ll take effect the following month.

Can I stop giving whenever I want?
Of course! Just call us at (805) 737-9246. Your cancellation will take place the same month, or the following month, depending on when we receive your call.

Will I receive a receipt for my donations for tax purposes?
All monthly donors receive an annual statement reflecting the prior year’s total contributions.

When will my credit card first be charged?
Monthly charges occur once per month. Your first online gift will be charged to your card on the date you make the first donation. All subsequent charges will occur around the same time of each month.
