Matching Funds
Did you know that many companies offer a matching funds program, where they will match the charitable contributions of their employees? This is a great way to double your donation. Ask your employer if they offer matching funds.

Many companies and organizations offer a way for full-time U.S. employees and directors to double their contributions to some of their favorite nonprofit organizations. Many will match at a 1:1 ratio, within certain limits and restrictions, donations by eligible participants.

For example,a Matching Gifts Program could match up to $10,000 of total gifts by an eligible employee, in each calendar year, on a dollar-for-dollar basis.

If offered, you may have any amount to be deducted from your paycheck, and you are ready to begin giving. Every dollar deducted from your paycheck could be immediately matched by your employer and ready to be used to make a difference in the quality of life for wild horses and burros.

Many employers have online solutions to help their employees organize all of your charitable giving, support charities you care about most, take advantage of payroll infusion, and get one tax receipt at year’s end for all your giving.

If your company supports the causes that are near and dear to your heart, we believe that we should inform our donors of this opportunity for each of their gifts to make a bigger impact for wild horses and burros than ever before.

Customizable Volunteer Days

Help care for the wild horses, burros, other wildlife and our sanctuary site by sponsoring a corporate volunteer day. Your group will have the unique opportunity to see the wild horses and burros, free in a natural environment in a true herd immersion experience with your colleagues! You will be able to engage in discussions with a Return to Freedom educator to explore the challenges these large herd animals face in a changing world. Discussions focus on how to be part of the solution through advocacy as well as participating in activities that keep the sanctuary the safe and magical home for our wild ones that it is today. We have the ability to do a range of group sizes and can work with your team to make it special.

Event Sponsorship

Show your corporate support and sponsor a Return to Freedom event. RTF hosts events of various sizes both onsite at our sanctuary as well as offsite venues on both the East and West Coasts.

Equipment In-Kind Gifts

Operating three different sanctuary sites and working on the range with the wild ones takes work! We are always in need of new equipment and vehicles to properly care for the horses and the sanctuary grounds. Cameras, computers and innovative software programs also help us keep our information up to date and shareable to our supporters!
