Born at Return to Freedom, Georgia is a beautiful confident mare who has grown to be respected by her bandmates.

Georgia’s sire was an old BLM-branded horse named George who was marked to go to long-term holding where, due to his low body score, would likely have been euthanized, but one of our donors purchased him from BLM and sent him to Return to Freedom. George gained weight and was beautiful. He enjoyed the hills and spent time with his bachelor boys until he passed at a ripe old age. Georgia is the product of his last romance with one of our Hart Mountain mares who did not respond to the birth control vaccine. His final legacy!
