Since 2018, the Daytime Beauty Awards has raised awareness for animals in need, and this year they have chosen America’s wild horses.

The Daytime Beauty Awards will also honor the career of Neda DeMayo with The Special Tribute Award for her inspiring achievements in building Return to Freedom Wild Horse Conservation.

The 6th annual Daytime Beauty Awards (DBA) will take place on Monday, September 30, 2024 at The Autry Museum of the American West.

A luncheon and honoree ceremony, the Daytime Beauty Awards recognizes science behind beauty, health and wellness; spotlighting professionals in the fields of medicine, health and fitness, aesthetics, skincare, color and styling, CBD & cannabis, beauty innovation and more.

The DBA luncheon will benefit and raise awareness for Return to Freedom Wild Horse Conservation as well as celebrate the history of the West, embracing cowboy culture and the Native American tribes of Los Angeles. The Autry is located in Griffith Park on the traditional lands of the Gabrielino/Tongva peoples. The museum’s collection of more than 600,000 pieces of art and cultural objects includes one of the largest and most significant of Native American materials in the United States.

About Return to Freedom:
Return to Freedom is a national non-profit wild horse conservation organization dedicated to wild horse preservation through sanctuary, education, and advocacy since 1998. The sanctuary’s precedent-setting focus is in keeping rescued family bands of wild horses intact and educating the public about the diversity, lives, and challenges of these closely bonded sentient beings. For the past 26 years, Return to Freedom has been at the forefront of wild horse conservation, identifying and pioneering minimally-intrusive solutions at its sanctuary that can be implemented on the range for long-term herd management to keep wild horse and burro herds wild and free on the range. Return to Freedom also operates the American Wild Horse Sanctuary at three California locations, caring for more than 450 wild horses and burros. Follow us on Facebook, X, and Instagram for updates about wild horses and burros on the range and at our sanctuary.
