Return to Freedom’s concerns center around the streamlined process for permits and the enhanced access to more and more public lands for livestock grazing.
The new regulations clarify that “permits are intended for production-oriented livestock operations,” which we fear would preclude wild horses and eliminate a creative solution that some organizations have utilized or would utilize to secure land for wild horses removed from Herd Management Areas.
