The Bureau of Land Management will host a virtual public hearing from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on May 13 to discuss the use of helicopters and other motorized vehicles in the management of wild horses in California and northwest Nevada.
Participants must register for the Zoom meeting at https://blm.zoomgov.com/meeting/register/vJItd-mtpzMsHcDGG5w1wF_SWOIRTENMeXg.
After registering, participants will receive an email with instructions for joining the meeting.
Those unable to join online will be welcome to participate by phone. Those who use the phone feature must register at the link above. They will receive phone numbers in their confirmation email.
Those unable to participate live may submit written comments to the BLM California State Office, Attention: Wild Horse and Burro Program, 2800 Cottage Way, Suite W1623, Sacramento, CA 95825, or by sending an email comment to BLM_CA_SO_VehicleHearing@blm.gov. Written comments are due by May 24.
