On the rolling hills of RTF’s 2,000-acre San Luis Obispo, Calif., satellite sanctuary, you’ll observe the relationships and communication between 84 wild horses and 24 burros and learn how to translate this “feel” into developing a connection with horses at Liberty.

Resnick developed The Waterhole Rituals more than 40 years ago from her observations of how horses in the wild communicate in harmony and unity, creating a method that helps humans communicate with horses by developing a deep bond, trust, respect and willingness, with no force and no pressure, and by allowing the horse to have a voice!
