Return to Freedom’s 2019 Calendar is Here!
Join us on a year-long exploration of Return to Freedom’s wild horses and burros. Photographers professional and amateur come from all over the world to visit Return to Freedom’s American Wild Horse Sanctuary. With three locations on the central coast of California that are open to photographers, we wanted to respond by creating a calendar for 2019 to capture a different perspective of our work. Fourteen exceptionally talented photographers grace its pages. Each image from the cover to January 2019 – January 2020 has the ability to be framed.
Go on safari with Adam Jones, Norma Fries, Emily McGahee, Lori Sortino, Irene Vejar, Stephen Pile, Ondrea Hidley, Elizabeth Hines, Susan Papa, Leslie Wasserman, Karen Asherah, Bev Pettit, Charlotte Fryer, and Leslie McCall, with illustrations of the other flora and fauna found at our sanctuary locations by David Carrasco.
In addition, we hope you will enjoy reading the photographer’s perspective of their image and experience with our sanctuary residents and each horse or burro’s connection to Return to Freedom. Special thanks to volunteer Cam Cherry for spending her summer contributing to the calendar’s mechanical concept. We are forever indebted to the brilliant team at Creative Impact Agency for creating the final design with us.
This stunning 11×17 vertical calendar is printed on 100% recycled uncoated white cover stock with a wire spiral binding. 100% of the revenue from the calendar will go to support Return to Freedom’s sanctuary and advocacy work. Click here to purchase!
